We are an optical product manufacturer born as one of the divisions, IOD (Industrial Optics Division), within the CBC Group, a conglomerate with a century-long history. Brand Introduction

Computar's origins can be traced back to CBC Group, a century-old creative trading company, and our solid growth foundation is built upon half a century of experience in the field of optics.

CBC Group began manufacturing lenses for surveillance cameras in 1974. In 1981, as a manufacturing brand, Computar began producing lenses under its own brand. With CBC Group expanding into the global market, production has continuously increased and continues to grow to this day.

As the 'Catalyst of Optics', Computar brings together diverse ideas and cutting-edge technology from various fields. Our optical expertise in advanced areas such as 5G, the Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics enables us to respond to the evolving needs of global customers. Additionally, we actively promote cross-industry technical collaborations to deliver innovations based on core optical knowledge.

Machine Vision
Starting with our diverse range of monofocal lenses that cover sensor trends and our unique, long-selling macro and telecentric lenses, we have added our new concept of LensConnect® and ViSWIR lenses using the latest designs to our lineup. Customers can select the best lens for their needs.
Security
Our all-megapixel lineup includes varifocal lenses that cover from wide-angle to telephoto, zoom lenses that can monitor at a distance, and camera module lenses. We also carry i-CS lenses that allow remote control of its functions.
ITS
With a wide range of focal lengths, all models support IR, and P-iris models can be used flexibly in many different road environments. To support recent trends, we have also added large-format, high-resolution models and 3-motor remote control models to our lineup.
